In Oslo, Norway for 3 years and counting after having lived abroad for 9 years. I love Oslo!
You are what you eat, what are you?
I guess I am quite balanced..
What would never end up on your plate?
Raw meat, snails, frog legs..
Do you have green fingers?
I have a thing for flowers and when I get tired of this fashion-thing I am planning on opening a little flower shop, so I sure hope so.
What do you do to make your day green?
I don’t own a car, I recycle and try to use less plastic, I don’t eat red meat.. All the simple things!
Whats your fits-to-all-occasions-garment?
A suit.. Goes with sneakers and it goes with heels.
If you only had 8 different garments, what would your wardrobe look like?
3 different types of jeans, 2 t-shirts, 2 blazers, 1 cashmere jumper.
What colours do you believe in for next season?
Brown, cream and pastels..
Forest and hiking, or sea and swimming?
If I had to chose it would be the sea as it gives me inner peace.. But I prefer both. I LOVE nature and fresh air.
Gallery or cinema?
I love a good art exhibition – it gives so much inspiration. But I also love a great movie to relax.
Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn?
I am one of those annoying Norwegians who love all 4 seasons..
How do you beat time?
I work or look for inspiration (again, work) on Instagram..
How do you get people smiling?
It’s very easy – I smile at them!
What is happiness for you?
Smiling. Being surrounded by people you love and feeling safe. Helping others.
A or B-human?
A mix! I prefer like 7-8 hours of sleep however never have a problem getting out of bed in the morning as I am normally excited for what the day will bring (and excited for that first coffee I have minutes after rolling out of bed..)
What drives you?
The pursuit of happiness. (My own and others)
Whats your life motto?
My work motto is “the better you feel the better you perform..” In life I think it is extremely important to live in the now and appreciate what you have <3 It’s now or never, so ENJOY!
Who inspire you?
So many.. Artists, designers, other stylists, kind selfless human beings – the list goes on..
Do you have a local hero you would like to give a shout out to?
I guess Fjong is a great local hero to mention – they rent out clothes and it is going really well! I also really admire the work of Vaffelgutta and =Oslo.
Finally – who do you want to pass this q&a to?
I’d love to pass it on to my best friend and inspiration, Marianne Theodorsen.
