Showing in season is a key part of Envelope1976’s plan for a more sustainable fashion future

Shot at Frysja – an architectural landmark of Norwegian functionalism – the collection presented by Envelope1976 today was inspired by the contrast between seasons. From the subtle warmth of summer evenings to the cool of Norwegian winter nights. Contrary to the usual modus operandi of the fashion industry, the brand did not look ahead to spring/summer 2022 but chose to focus on the present.

Showing in season, an array of biodegradable fabrics and earthy tones swept through Frysja. The timeless, gender-neutral collection created a versatile wardrobe of sweaters, suits, coats and statement leather pieces made to be worn multiple ways – a knit turned into a vest and a leather coat a dress.

It’s safe to say that the minimalist aesthetics of Envelope1976’s AW21 collection is made to last.
